South Shields Photographic Society is a long standing active photographic society and member of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PGAB), the Northern Counties Photographic Federation (NCPF) and the Photographic Society of America (PSA).

We have an active membership that enjoys developing their photographic skills in a friendly and supportive environment, learning from informative guest speakers, fellow members and entering internal and external competitions.

The South Shields Photographic Society was founded in 1913 and has a rich history.​​
