Terms and Conditions.

1. Please create 1
Album Only
2. Maximum size 500 pixels on any side.
3. No Adult Material of any kind.
4. South Shields Photographic Society supply’s this gallery as a service and is
supplied on an 'ASIS' Basis No warranty of any kind is granted to the gallery.
5. Terms of use is simple please don’t abuse it.
South Shields Photographic Society reserves all rights in this
matter to amend Terms and Conditions and not limited to
deletion of material and albums and deletion of accounts.
6. Please have your Photographs ready before you register and upload them soon
after this, failure to do this and your account will be deleted after a couple
of days if your gallery remains empty. If you have any difficulty in getting your pictures on the web then please read the instructions below again, if you still can't manage it then Zip your photographs up and attach them to an e-mail and send them to webmaster@southshieldsphoto.co.uk this will only be gone once for your first set. Your login details will have to be sent to me in the e-mail as well as the atached zip file. Login details won't be kept after Photographs are uploaded.
This Gallery is maintained by you
with a very easy to use interface when registered and it’s Free.

Registering
|
|
To register
for the website is easy just go to the Online
Gallery and click on Register on the top
right hand side
|
|
|
Enter the details into the dialogue Box
and make a note of your User Name and Password this has to be entered every
time you logon. Click the Register Button. The Gallery Administrators
will then activate your account soon after this.
It is your responsibility after your account has been activated to add your photographs.

|
To
Check To See If Your Account has been activated
go to the gallery and Click  to go to the end of the Album
If You see a picture like this one you have
been activated, If Not please wait until
you do before trying to login.
|
|
 Login to your account.
After you
have done that you should see ‘Add a photo!’
at the top of the page click on that to
add your photos.
 This only appears the first time you use it when the gallery is empty after that see below.
To
Add A Photograph or edit your Gallery Simply
Login then Click on the Icon that is below
the word 'Gallery' on the top left and choose
ADD Item from the Side Bar to add Photographs
at any time after that or to amend your
gallery.
To Upload your Zip File all you need to do is Click
on the top Browse Button 1and Browse to your
Zip file and select it then Click on Add
Items Button 2 on the Bottom and let the Program
do the rest.

Preparation
Of Images Before Upload.
|
Using
you favourite image editor edit your
photographs and make sure that they
are:-
1. Below
500 pixels on the longest side and in
8 bits per channel.
2. That
they look as intended (Sharpness, Colour,
The Right Way round, ect)
3. Have
a descriptive title and saved in JPG
and a quality of between 8 ( High) and
12 (Maximum)
4. Have
as many images as you can at once but
below the web size allowance.
5. The
Images needs to be saved in a separate
folder ('Web Pictures' in my case)and
for ease of use needs
to
be zipped up this can then be uploaded
all at once.

Images

Right Click
and Choose Add to Archive

A Archive
Folder will be Generated and looks like

Double
Click on Archive if it looks like this It
is Wrong
(Folder
and contents - Zip also one folder up)

Double
Click on Archive if it looks like this then
it is Correct
(Only Image Files have been added)
