The 1960's (Marine and Technical College)

In 1962 the school moved to a brand new building in Westoe Village and became known as the “Marine and Technical College” and it was by invitation of the principal. Dr Hargreaves that we also moved into the new building in St. Georges Avenue. Meetings were held in the lecture theatre that had tiered seating and allowed everyone a clear view of the proceedings, unfortunately storage of equipment was even more of a problem and often had to be hauled up several flights of stairs when required for a meeting having being kept at home by some of the members.
